Terms of Use
Last Updated: June 9, 2026
Welcome to Bobcat Esports Hub. By creating an account, accessing match lobbies, joining a team, submitting scores, or participating in tournaments hosted through the platform, you agree to follow these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the platform.
School and community use notice: Bobcat Esports Hub is designed to support esports organization, school programs, team coordination, match reporting, standings, brackets, and related community activities. These Terms are intended to protect players, teams, schools, administrators, and the integrity of competition.
1. Account Security & Liability
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree not to share your password, impersonate another user, access another user's account, or leave your account logged in on a shared or public device.
Bobcat Esports Hub is not responsible for profile changes, roster changes, tournament registrations, score submissions, or messages made by someone else using your account if your login information is shared, exposed, or left unattended.
2. Student Participation & School Programs
Bobcat Esports Hub may be used by schools, coaches, teachers, student organizations, and independent community teams. Participation in tournaments or activities hosted through the platform does not guarantee eligibility for any school-sponsored competition.
Users are responsible for complying with their school's academic, behavioral, attendance, technology, and esports eligibility requirements. Individual schools, coaches, and program administrators retain authority over student participation decisions, discipline, team placement, and eligibility.
If you are a minor, you represent that you have permission from a parent, guardian, school official, coach, or authorized program administrator to participate where required by applicable law, school policy, tournament policy, or platform rules.
3. Code of Conduct & Match Chat
Esports are built on respect. We provide match lobbies, chat features, team tools, and reporting systems to help users coordinate games and submit results. By using these features, you agree that:
- No Harassment or Hate Speech: Harassment, slurs, threats, bullying, discriminatory language, targeted abuse, or intimidation are strictly prohibited.
- No Toxicity: Excessive unsportsmanlike conduct, intentional disruption, repeated arguing, or hostile behavior toward players, coaches, admins, or spectators may result in penalties.
- No Spam or Malicious Links: Do not flood chats with repetitive text, advertisements, scams, suspicious links, or unrelated content.
- Logs May Be Reviewed: Platform Administrators may access match lobby chat logs, score reports, and other platform activity to investigate disputes, enforce rules, protect users, or maintain tournament integrity.
4. Competitive Integrity & Admin Authority
To keep competitions fair, users must report scores honestly, follow tournament rules, use only eligible players, and avoid actions that undermine competitive integrity.
- No Cheating: Hacking, unauthorized third-party software, modified clients, exploit abuse, unauthorized macros, or any tool that gives an unfair advantage is prohibited.
- No Falsified Results: Submitting fake scores, altered screenshots, misleading evidence, or intentionally incorrect match information may result in penalties.
- No Roster Abuse: Using ineligible players, alternate accounts, smurf accounts, unauthorized substitutes, or players outside approved rosters may result in forfeits or disqualification.
- No Platform Abuse: Users may not exploit bugs, manipulate brackets, abuse reporting systems, or intentionally interfere with platform operations.
Platform Administrators hold final authority over platform-based match results and tournament operations. If a score is disputed or rules are violated, administrators may manually override brackets, force a win or loss, reset a match, require additional evidence, remove a team, or take other action necessary to protect the competition.
5. Suspensions, Bans & Enforcement
We reserve the right to warn, restrict, suspend, or permanently terminate any account, team, roster, or tournament entry for violating these Terms, tournament rules, school requirements, or administrator instructions.
If your account or team is suspended or banned, you may forfeit current tournament standings, match results, awards, or eligibility. You may not create alternate accounts, use another user's account, or otherwise attempt to bypass a suspension or ban.
Enforcement decisions may consider severity, prior behavior, intent, evidence, school policies, and the impact on other users or tournaments.
6. Intellectual Property
Bobcat Esports Hub respects intellectual property rights and expects users to do the same.
- Platform Ownership: The design, layout, code, branding, documentation, and infrastructure of this hub are powered by NxtUp.GG and belong to their respective creators or rights holders.
- Platform Protection: You may not attempt to gain unauthorized access to, interfere with, disrupt, scrape, automate, probe, test vulnerabilities of, or reverse engineer any portion of the platform except as expressly permitted by applicable law.
- Third-Party Intellectual Property: All game titles, trademarks, service marks, logos, characters, artwork, and related intellectual property are the property of their respective owners.

7. User Content & Media License
Users retain ownership of content they submit or upload to the platform, including team names, logos, profile images, screenshots, match evidence, messages, score reports, and other submitted materials.
By submitting content, you grant Bobcat Esports Hub and NxtUp.GG a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display, store, reproduce, modify for formatting, and distribute that content solely for tournament operations, standings, historical records, broadcasts, promotional materials, educational activities, safety reviews, dispute resolution, and platform functionality.

We reserve the right to remove content, disable access to content, suspend accounts, or take other actions deemed necessary to address intellectual property, privacy, or safety concerns.
9. Service Availability & Platform Changes
We may modify, update, suspend, discontinue, or remove features of the platform at any time in order to improve security, stability, functionality, tournament operations, or user experience.
We reserve the right to perform maintenance, upgrades, emergency changes, security patches, and platform resets without prior notice when necessary to protect the platform, its users, or tournament integrity.
10. Safety, Security & Acceptable Use
You agree not to misuse the platform or attempt to harm its users, systems, or data. Prohibited behavior includes attempting unauthorized access, probing for vulnerabilities, bypassing security controls, overwhelming servers, interfering with matches, uploading malware, abusing APIs, or using automated tools without permission.
We may monitor activity, rate-limit requests, block suspicious traffic, disable accounts, preserve relevant records, or report serious incidents to school officials, platform administrators, service providers, or law enforcement when appropriate.
11. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability
The platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. While we work to keep the platform reliable, secure, and accurate, we do not guarantee that the site will be completely free of bugs, interruptions, delays, errors, data loss, bracket issues, score reporting problems, or service outages.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Bobcat Esports Hub, NxtUp.GG, platform administrators, contributors, schools, coaches, and affiliated volunteers are not liable for missed matches, bracket glitches, score disputes, network disconnects, device issues, third-party service failures, lost opportunities, or other damages arising from use of the platform.
Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot legally be limited under applicable law.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect platform changes, school needs, tournament rules, safety requirements, or legal considerations. When changes are made, the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page will be revised.
Continued use of the platform after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.
13. Questions or Disputes
If you have questions about these Terms, need to dispute a match result, report a toxic player, request content removal, or raise a safety concern, please contact the administrative team directly via Discord or at admin@bobcatesports.net.
